booking terms and conditions

Read this agreement thoroughly and carefully before booking a trip with us.

AGREEMENT: The terms and conditions set forth in this agreement constitute the entire understanding and agreement between you the trip “participant” and Fun ‘N’ Sun Travels with respect to any and all bookings, tours or transaction made with Fun ´N´Sun Travels.

DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENT:

A deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is required at the time of the booking.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to the trip´s start time. If you wish to pay in cash, you can do that on the same day the trip begins.

If your booking is made within 30 days of the trip´s start time the entire tour cost must be paid when we confirm the trip with you.

Payment may be made by wire transfer, credit card or cash. Once it´s completed you´ll get a receipt immediately.

Customer cancellation & refund policy

There are different cancellation and refund policies, depending on the specific tour, hike or package you choose. Please be sure to verify which one is applicable to your chosen trip prior confirmation. To cancel your booking, you must submit your request to us in writing by email at info@funnsuntravels.com or via WhatsApp at +505 89933714. Cancellations fees will be applied per person according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification:  

half-day hikes & day hikes

  • Up to 7 days before the hike´s start time, 30% of hike costs
  • Within 4 days before the hike´s start time, 50% of hike costs
  • Within 1 day (24 hours) before the hike´s start time, 100% of hike costs

Any changes made to the program less than 2 full days prior the trip´s start time will no be accepted, unless you pay a charge fee.

multi-day hikes

  • Up to 25 days prior the trip start, 30% of trip costs
  • Within 20 days prior, 50% of trip costs
  • Within 15 days prior, 100% of trip costs

Any changes to the program made less than 7 full days prior the trip´s start time will no be accepted, unless you pay a charge fee.

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a tour, hike or package once it begins, including if you leave a tour for any reason or have to be removed from a tour. There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, civil strife, personal, family or medical emergencies or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Cancellation or changes by us

  • If any of our tours, hikes or packages are cancelled due to poor weather, you will be offered a different date or a full refund. 
  • Some tours requires a minimum isn´t met, you will offered a different date or tour.
  • Cut-off times are based on the tours´s local time.
